Enhance your experience of the 9/11 Memorial Museum by using the official audio guide. The Museum honors the 2,983 people killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. Exhibitions tell the story of the events of 9/11 through authentic artifacts that range in scale from the monumental to the intimate, as well as through first-person accounts and multimedia displays. The guide provides themed audio tours featuring stories from the day of 9/11 and the recovery at Ground Zero. It also presents details of the Museum’s archaeological elements and architectural designs of the Memorial and the Museum.

Witnessing History Tour: Narrated by Robert De Niro, this tour provides an overview of 9/11 and its aftermath. You’ll hear about the experiences of first responders, recovery workers, family members of those killed on 9/11, journalists, and others with stories to share. This tour is also available in American Sign Language, Chinese (Mandarin Simplified), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Discovering History Tour: Designed for children ages 8-11 years old and their families, this tour takes a close look at Museum artifacts and provides an age-appropriate recounting of the events of 9/11.

Building History Tour: This tour features the voices of architects, recovery workers, and preservationists describing the archaeological remnants of the World Trade Center visible in the Museum, as well as information about the building and design of the original complex and this Museum.

For visually impaired visitors, this app uses VoiceOver technology. An audio descriptive tour of the Museum is also available.
